With back to school shopping already being advertised, and families rushing to squeeze out the last drop of summer vacation, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) wants to remind parents to make appointments now to have their child’s immunizations updated. To assist in that effort, DHS is offering you the opportunity to interview Dan Hopfensperger, the Director of the Wisconsin Immunization Program.
Dan can answer key questions for parents, including:
• What immunizations are needed for school?
• What are the deadlines or timelines parents need to meet?
• Why is it important that my child’s immunizations are up to date?
• What can happen if I don’t have my child immunized on time?
