GAIL MARIE (VETTORI) QUINN
Gail Marie (Vettori) Quinn

Gail was born in Trimountain, MI to Attilio (Tiggie) and Agatha (Bendry) Vettori, the second of four girls. Gail was raised in the UP until 7th grade when her family moved to Cumberland, WI. She graduated from Cumberland High in 1953, went on to attend Art School in Chicago, IL. She later moved back to join her family in Glenwood City.
She worked for her dad at Stella Cheese, where she met her first husband David Wold. They raised their family in Glenwood City. They had four children; Barry, Ann, Susan and Daniel.
Barry passed away in 1970, David passed away in 1984.
She later married Wm. (Bud) Quinn in 1987. They owned and operated Bud and Gail’s Glenwood Bar. Bud passed away in 2007.
Gail was a proud supporter of the Hilltoppers, for many years she didn’t miss a basketball game.
Gail was a lady of many talents. She enjoyed, crocheting, bingo, bowling, Homemakers, Saddle Club, karaoke, art tex painting, and plastic canvas.
She was proud to be able to write upside down and backwards. She enjoyed spending time at her cabin with family and friends. Most of all she enjoyed life and making people laugh.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, older sister JoAnn, ten-year-old son Barry, both husbands David and Bud, infant granddaughter Hannah, and many other relatives and friends.
Gail is survived by her children: Ann (Kevin) Helland, Sue (Kevin) Smith, Dan (special friend Aimee) Wold. Grandchildren: Karli, Karmen, Torin, Morgan and (special friend) Mariah. Sisters; Jacqueline Klinger, Marian Spaulding and many relatives and friends.
Gail had many special friends that made sure she had a ride to bingo and bowling, Andy, Chris, Jill, Ken and Tracy. You all meant the world to her.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI with Carlla Lingerfelt officiating. Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood City, WI.
