AGNES “TOOLA” GARSKE

Toola I. Garske, 90, of Glenwood City, WI, passed away February 10, 2014 at Glenhaven nursing home of Glenwood City.

Toola was born in Stanton Township, Wisconsin on May 3, 1923 to John Howard and Ines Mary (Hansen) Daniels. Toola was a graduate of the Superior Central High School. On August 8th, 1953 Toola married Lorain A. Garske at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Glenwood City.

She was a member of the Glenhaven Auxillary, Community Center, and St. John’s Choir. Toola also enjoyed card clubs and coffee get togethers. She also enjoyed the many trips she and Lorain took with their friends throughout the years.

Toola was employed by the 1st National Bank of Glenwood City as a bank teller. She also worked for the Leon Berenschot Insurance Agency.

Toola is survived by “her kids”, Jerry Larson of Phoenix, AZ; Gary (Nancy) Larson of St. Clair, MN; Donna (Roger) Ostendorf of Atwater, MN; and Wayne (Patty) Larson of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren Elaine Larson of Phoenix, AZ; Robb Larson of Finland, MN; Aaron (Andrea) Larson of Fort Collins, CO; Nicole (Todd) Merkle of Metamora, MI; Andrew (Amanda) Schleuter of Amboy, MN; Billy Bison of Minneapolis, MN; Sara (Doug) Ellefson of Wyazata MN; Sally (James) Martin of Highland Park, IL; Jennifer (Kevin) Collier of Madison, TN. Toola also enjoyed the company of her 10 great-grandchildren, nephews John and Jan Garske, Jeff and Donna Garske, Ernie Genone Warner Robins, GA, Daniel and Judy Genone of Macon, GA; and Terry and Loretta Genone of Macon, GA.

Toola was preceded in death by her parents, sister Elaine Larson, sister Alice Genone, husband Lorain Garske, granddaughter Teresa Bison, and great grandson Richard Curtis.

Mass of Christian burial was held February 14, 2014 at St John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father John Long as celebrant. Burial was in the church cemetery. Local arrangement by the Anderson Funeral Home Glenwood City.
