Off the Editor’s Desk – 12-25-2013

I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. With all the things that are going one in the world, our country, state and even locally. Issues have driven us apart and the gap seems to be getting wider as time goes on.

I will pray that I will have understanding of others needs, desires, feelings and opinions, even if they disagree with mine. I will try to treat everyone like neighbors and friends. Try to understand others and not be judgmental.

I will pray for world peace. Health and happiness to everyone.

I wanted to print a poem called “Footprints in the Sand.”  It’s about a person looking back over their life while walking with God on the beach. There are two sets of footprints in the sand, but only one set when the persons life has issues. But I found out it is copyrighted by the estate of Mary Stevenson and I do not have the license to reprint it. I am suggesting that you Google it and please read it.

Thanks for reading.
