LLOYD C. SCHALLENBERGER

Lloyd C. Schallenberger Jr., age 72, formerly of Glenwood City, WI died Monday, November 18, 2013 at Parkview Nursing Home with hospice in Woodville, WI.

Lloyd was born August 1, 1941 in the Township of Siren, WI to Lloyd and Esther (Darns) Schallenberger Sr. After graduating he met and married Dorothy Schlenz September 21, 1963 in Pine City, MN. Lloyd enjoyed playing cards and traveling. He will be missed by family and friends who know him as a good father and friend who would do anything to help anyone out.

Lloyd is preceded by his parents and wife Dorothy in 2006.

Lloyd is survived by children: Julie Perry, Lloyd (Darla) Schallenberger III, Larry (Melissa) Schalleneberger, Jerry Schallenberger and Terry (Bobbie) Schallenberger; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; two sisters and one brother: Louise Hayes, Barb (Jack) Olinger and Eugene Schallenberger. He is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 22, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Glenwood City, WI with Reverend Diane House officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Greenwood Cemetery Township Emerald, WI at a later date. Local arrangements by the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI.
