Position changes in Boyceville Schools

By Kelsie Hoitomt

BOYCEVILLE – The Boyceville Middle School/High School recently welcomed Nancy Pustol as the new Administrative Assistant after Alesha Kersten changed her position to Payroll/Benefits Clerk and Community Education Director.

Nancy, her husband Wally, and their three children have been residents of Boyceville since 1996.

Nancy has been a bit of a “jack of all trades” as she previously worked at her own antique shop and then began subbing at the Boyceville school district while simultaneously working at the local public library and at the Cranberry Cottage in Eau Claire.

Nancy said that she once filled in for Kersten some years ago and she loved the job then, which helped her make the decision to apply for the position when it became available.

As for Kersten, she spent the last 14 years as the Administrative Assistant and Assistant Athletic Director.

“I decided to make the switch to challenge myself and learn something new. I am excited that I will still be able to keep contact with our community members and students through the Community Education program,” shared Kersten.
