MARGIE L. JORDHEIM

Margie L. Jordheim, age 94, of Glenwood City, WI died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at Glenhaven Inc. in Glenwood City with hospice.

Margie was born March 20, 1919 in Landa, ND to Elvin and Bertina (Lee) Boreson. She attended and graduated from Landa High School and later graduated from Minot Business College with a degree in Business Management. Margie then went to work at JC Penney’s in Minot. Margie married Monrad Jordheim Dec. 14, 1941 in Minot, ND. They moved to Glenwood City in March of 1942 and they farmed until Monrad’s death in 1986. She then moved to Downing, WI, staying active in church with the Ladies Aid and serving many years as church organist. While in Downing she enjoyed spend time and caring for family and assisting Connie Hurtgen in her catering business.

Margie is preceded in death by her husband Monrad in 1986, parents, sister Bernice Akerland and two brothers Allen and Duane Boreson.

Margie is survived by son Gary Jordheim of Downing, WI;  two grandsons Jeff (Lori) Jordheim and Stacey (Robin) Jordheim;  Great grandchildren, Trevor, Lyndcey, Maggie & Jackie Jordheim, brother-in-law, two nephews and one nieces. She is further survived by many friends.

Memorial services were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Glenwood City with Reverend Diane House officiating. Interment of cremians will be in the Glenwood Cemetery Glenwood City, WI. Friends were able to call at the church on Saturday one hour prior to services.
