ROBERT G. KERR

Robert G. Kerr, 82, of Elk Mound, WI (formally of Onalaska, WI) passed away at home on Thursday, September 5th surrounded by his wife and friends.

After his studies he returned to La Crosse, working at Leithold Music, Danny’s Music and Dahlberg’s Music repairing organs. On June 22, 1963 he married Patricia A. Timm in Elk Mound.  With his work experience and Pat’s support, he established Kerr’s Organ Service where he worked until his retirement in 2011.

Bob and Pat traveled back and forth from their home in Onalaska to the farm in Elk Mound for many years.  He was happiest when he was outdoors, in the summer cutting grass and in the winter cutting wood.  He also had a special place in his heart for his dogs. He also enjoyed going to the Altoona Family Restaurant, especially for fish on Friday nights.
