STEVEN M. McCLELLAND

Steven Maynard McClelland, 62, passed away on July 7, 2013 at the Red Wing Health Center, Red Wing, Minnesota after a lengthily illness.

Steve was born on May 17 (his father’s birthday), 1951 in Baldwin, Wisconsin to Maynard E. and Arlene (Mars) McClelland. He grew up on a farm near Connorsville, Wisconsin and graduated from Boyceville High School. After high school, Steve worked for Leonard Harnish Lumber for several years. From 1973 to 1992 Steve worked for Anderson’s in Bayport.

On July 1, 1983 Steve married Kathleen Levsen in Glenbeulh. Wisconsin. They had two children, Anthony Scott and Julie Marie.

Before his illness, Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling and other outdoor activities.

Steve is survived by his parents, Maynard and Arlene, Eau Claire; one sister, Linda McClelland, Eau Claire; a son Anthony (Katrina) Connorsville; one daughter, Julie (fiance Ryan Komorouski), New Richmond; two granddaughters, Lillian and Theodora McClelland; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Pastor Kenneth Kuziej officiating. Burial will take place in Waneka Cemetery Twp. Spring Brook, Dunn Co. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Olson Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
