Postal food drive successful
On May 11th the Boyceville, Downing, Wilson and Glenwood City Postal Carriers collected over 1,500 lbs. of food for this year’s annual Stamp out Hunger Food Drive. The food was donated to West CAP’s food pantry located in Boyceville.
The pantry serves families from the Boyceville and Glenwood City School Districts and was very pleased to receive the much needed donation. Community members who contributed food for the postal carrier drive made the food a true success. The pantry serves an average of 125 households per month. Donations of money, food, personal items or household items may be donated at any time and can be mailed or dropped off at the pantry located at 823 Main Street in Boyceville or at 525 Second Street in Glenwood City. Volunteers are always needed for the pantry and can call 715-265-4271 for more information.
