Hay River Helpers hold May meeting

The Hay River Helpers 4H Club had their May meeting on the 13th. We started out with the pledges and attendance. Then we did the treasurers report, then we went over old and new business.

Old business: we went to the American Inn and had a swimming/pizza party. New business: Birthday Bags & playing bingo with the residents at GlenHaven, we also will be doing our fair sign at our June meeting.  Be at GlenHaven on June 8th at 1:45 p.m. and bingo will start at 2:00 p.m. June 10th at 6:00 we will be having a potluck dinner and paint our fair sign, address will be emailed. Think about ideas for the pink party. June 15 is the deadline for entering your fair projects. Then we had our speeches. Makayla Nelson read The Foot Book, Jerod Nelson read his English paper on Pearl Harbor and Brayden Miller showed his chicken after that we had a delicious snack provided by the Hoffs and Schultzs.
