AUDREY PIERSON

Audrey L. Pierson, age 82, of Hudson, WI died Wednesday April 10, 2013 at the Hudson Hospital in Hudson, WI.

Audrey was born April 23, 1930 in the Township of Hay River Dunn Co, WI. to Arnold and Dagmar (Strand) Albrecht. She was raised in the Boyceville area where she graduated high school. Audrey married Jerome Pierson and they were happily married for 52 years. She worked as a special education teacher’s assistant in the New Richmond High School for many years. But retiring and moving to the Osceola area and recently to the Hudson, WI. Audrey enjoyed baking cranberry bread for Jerry, fishing, gardening and traveling together. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, painting and doing needlepoint.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry in 2012, sister Ruth Juengel, nieces, Brenda and Rhonda Mayer and nephew Ross Richards.

Audrey is  survived by three children: Andrea Hansen of Osceola, WI, Linda Miller and husband Bruce of Hudson, WI, and Daniel Pierson of Norway; four grandchildren: Sarah Stolt, Rueben Daniel, Quinn Odin and Sofia Sol Pierson; sister Theresa “Tess” Mayer of Boyceville, WI and brother Dwight Albrecht of Baldwin, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held Tuesday April 16, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, WI with Reverend Bradley Peterson officiating. Interment of cremains were in the Tiffany Cemetery Boyceville, WI. Local arrangements by the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI.
