By LeAnn R. Ralph

BOYCEVILLE —Board members of the Boyceville fire district and the Boyceville ambulance district selected five people at the April 10 meeting to serve on the five-year planning committee for each district.

The fire district’s five-year planning committee includes Rich Monn from the Town of Stanton; Paul Wathke from the Town of Sherman; Bill Drinkman from the Town of Tiffany; Don Cormican from the Town of New Haven; and Ned Hahn from the Town of Hay River.

Monn is the incumbent town chair in Stanton re-elected in the April 2 election.

Wathke is an incumbent on the Sherman Town Board.

Drinkman was newly elected to the Tiffany Town Board April 2.

Cormican also was newly elected to the New Haven Town Board April 2.

Hahn is an incumbent on the Hay River Town Board.

Jill Huber, who was newly elected to the New Haven Town Board April 2, indicated that she had an interest in serving on the ambulance district planning committee rather than the fire district planning committee.

Board members agreed to put Huber on the five-year planning committee for the ambulance district in place of Cormican and to keep the rest of the committee members the same for the ambulance district and the fire district.
