2013 Spring Election results are in

Draxler remains Chairperson in Town of GC
Current Chairperson, Joe Draxler, won the election by a mere four votes with 118 total compared to Mark Maes’s 114 total votes according to the unofficial results posted by St. Croix County.
Also returning to the Board is Rick Obermueller who received 115 votes for the Supervisory position. Stepping into his new role and replacing Chuckie DeSmith as Supervisor is Barry Peterson who received 112 votes. Another newcomer to the Board is Mike Myers who will be the Clerk in place of Juanita James. Sarah McCarthy remains the Treasurer.
DeGross new city council member in Glenwood City
Ben Degross was elected as the newest city council member in Glenwood City. He received the highest amount of votes with 162.
Also reelected to the city council were Crystal Booth and Terrance Klinger.
Benson takes over as Clerk in Forest
The Town of Forest has one new member on the board with Marilyn Benson taking over as Clerk in place of Jennifer Anderson.
Remaining in their same positions are Jaime Junker as Chairperson, Rick Steinberger and Patrick Scepurek as Supervisors and Nikki Sunday as Treasurer.
Emerald Board stays the same
The Town of Emerald remained the same after the voting last Tuesday, April 2. Henry Hurtgen is the chairperson, Tom Wink and Francis Klatt are Supervisors, Barbara Prinsen is the Clerk and Donald Prinsen is the Treasurer.
Cowan new village president in Wilson
Dennis Cowan received 30 votes in the Village of Wilson and was elected the new President in place of Craig Grandahl who stepped down.
Also returning is Doug Ray as Trustee. Dawn Wickman remains the Clerk and Tenaya Tison remains Treasurer.
Brian Mahoney new Supervisor in Springfield
Brian Mahoney was elected to the Town of Springfield as Supervisor II in place of Dean Fayerweather who chose to no longer be on the Board. Mahoney received 112 votes compared to the other candidate Don Hogenson who received 46 according to the unofficial results from St. Croix County.
Reelected to the Board was current Chairperson, Bill Reusch and current Supervisor, James Mahoney.
Obermueller-Heimer elected on school board
Below are the official results from St. Croix and Dunn Counties for the April 2 election. Charlotte Obermueller-Heimer has been elected to the Glenwood City Board of Education.
