ROSELYN G. LOHFINK

Roselyn G. Lohfink, age 87, of Boyceville died Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Mayo Clinic Health  Menomonie, WI.

Roselyn was born September 5, 1925 in the Township of Sheridan, Dunn Co., WI to Edward and Georgia (Gravermoen) Roemhild. She was baptized and confirmed at West Akers Lutheran Church by Rev O H Lund. She attended the Vanceburg Grade School and graduated from the Prairie Farm High School in 1944. After graduation she worked in Minneapolis, MN and later married Louis Lohfink, a neighborhood boy that she knew all her life, on Jan. 27, 1949 in the Township of Sheridan. After his return from serving with the Marine Corp during WWII, they farmed in the Connorsville area.

Roselyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband Louis in 1990; sisters-in-law Nancy Roemhild, Rosella Harnisch, Phyllis Goodell and Lois Lohfink; brothers-in-law Norman Lohfink and Ed Harnisch.

Roselyn is survived by four children: Lynelle (Mike) Lagerstom, Tom (Liz) Lohfink, Ginger (Butch) Hoff all of Boyceville, WI and Tami (Dave) Fetter of Hudson, WI; eight grandchildren: Jay (Karen) Lagerstrom, Kyle (Brittany Mueller) Lohfink, Erin (Brent) Bitter, Joby (Heidi) Hoff, Cody (Jenny) Hoff, Briana, Chloe and Lydia Fetter; great-grandchildren Michael, Marki and Mya Lagerstrom, Kayla and Oliver  Hoff, Brothers Alton (Jean) Roemhild of Boyceville, WI and Lon Roemhild of Prairie Farm, WI; brother-in-law Paul Goodell of Hudson, WI. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and very good friends Hanna Rubusch, Fay Krueger and Margaret Smith.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December  20, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Boyceville, WI with Reverend Timothy Matthaei officiating. Burial will be in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery Township, New Haven, Dunn Co. Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
