Vounteers help West CAP even in snowy conditions
Even with blizzard like conditions it did not keep hard working volunteers from the Boyceville and Spring Valley area away from coming to West CAP’s Food Access and Resource Center to pack boxes of food for area senior citizens!
On the morning of Dec. 10th folks came with shovels in hand to help shovel out the area to make room for the large semi truck and unload 19 pallets of food. The volunteers then assembled that food into individual boxes which will later be distributed to 550 senior citizens at 12 different sites.
If anyone would like to help pack food boxes for senior citizens on the second Monday of each month, please call Melissa J. Wyss at 715-977-1191 for further details. West CAP is very appreciative to those that have extended a helping hand at the new Food Access and Resource Center in Boyceville.
