Another week into Winter and each day it’s like this makes winter shorter.
Boyceville is getting all geared up for the “Spirit of Christmas.” People have their homes in lights.
People are baking for the bake sales. The ads for times and things going on are posted throughout town, and also in the paper.
Today at Trinity, there was baptized a sweet little girl, Nora Meadows Kitchner. She is the daughter of Jacob and Shaina Kitchner. What a great show of family there to support her.
Also at Trinity, there were 13 new members introduced into our church family.
When I think of quitting my shop, I think twice. I sure would miss the camaraderie of friends around my table there. On Friday I had a table full, what great fun and laughs and knowledge that we share.
On Wednesday night I went with Kathy Hanson to the wake for Betty Wienkie. Another AVON Lady and I mean Lady – God be with her family.
On Saturday night, December 8, the Spaghetti Feed at the Eagles’ Nest is sponsored by the Lions.
Darcy from Clear Lake came and went to church Sunday morning with me. What a blessing.
There is a vendor sale at the Eagle’s Nest of the 5th. Call for tables.
On Wednesday, Dec. 12 at noon there will be a holiday dinner at the senior center. A royal treatment and service is given. Call ahead for reservations. 715-643-2305.
As you get ready for the holidays, may you take care and don’t stress out. There’s always another day.
