ELVIRA M. SEIDL

Elvira M. Seidl, age 80, of Glenwood City, WI died Saturday November 24, 2012 at her home at Havenwood in Glenwood City, WI.

Elvira was born May 23, 1932 in the Township of Forest, WI to Emil and Alma (Martin) Hill. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest, WI. Elvira married Leonard Johnson July 9, 1950 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood City. She later married James Seidl on October 25, 1986  at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Glenwood City.

Elvira is preceded in death by her parents; husband Leonard in 1978 and husband James; brothers Delbert and Raymond; sister Marjorie Zielsdorf Stack.

Elvira is survived by sons Kenneth Johnson and wife Chris, Donald Johnson, Kevin Johnson and wife Tammy and Ronald Johnson all of Glenwood City, WI; foster sons Steven Repp and Tom Repp of Vadnais Heights, MN; nine grandchildren and step-grandchildren; brother Erwin Hill and wife Dorothy of Amery, WI; sister-in-law Edith Johnson of Glenwood City, WI. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Glenwood City, WI with Reverend Diane House officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood City. Friends were able to call at the church on Tuesday at the church from 11 until time of service.
