DARYL J. GOOSSENS

Daryl J. Goossens, age 57, of Emerald, WI died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Red Wing Health Care Center in Red Wing, MN.

Daryl was born April 23, 1955 in Baldwin, WI to Delmar and Marlene (McIntyre) Goossens. Daryl married Kathleen Cuturia June 8, 1979 in Hudson, WI. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing and participating in tractor pulls, and traveling to Iowa.

Daryl is preceded in death by his father Delmar, brother Steven.

Daryl is survived by wife Kathy of Emerald, WI. children Bill Spaeth and wife Vicky of Emerald, WI. Melissa Friest and husband Matt of Knapp, Wi. Stacy Goossens and wife Anna of Hammond, WI. Cassandra Goossens of Emerald, WI. Grandchildren Kaylin and Kim Spaeth, Mackayla and Mackenzie Friest, Steven, Ruby and Carter Goossens and Sondra Potter. Mother Marlene Goossens and sisters Dawn Goossens and partner Joni Wright, Sherri Goossens, Carol Knops and husband Kevin, Linda Hill and Robin Hoyt and husband Casey. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial serives will be held 8PM Friday November 23, 2012 at St. John’s Catholic Church with Deacon Wes Tuttle officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 3 to 8 PM. Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI is assisting the family.
