Bellringers hold awards banquet

The Emerald Bellringers held their annual awards banquet on October 14, 2012. We had the meeting first. President Izzy Nadeau called the meeting to order. We decided to do Bellringing at Ormson’s from November 30th to December 1st. Sign up is at the next meeting.
We are holding a food drive at the next meeting. We also donated $25 to the Family Resource Center for the Christmas Shopping Spree. We are going to Govin’s Corn Maze on Friday, November 26th. Meeting was adjourned.
The awards banquet followed the meeting. The new officers were announced. President-Jenesa Klinger, Vice-President-Joe Obermueller, Secretary-Wesley Franklin, Treasurer-Will Rosenow, and Reporter-Tyler Franklin. Members were given club awards for dairy, cats, fishing, creative stitchery, and softball. County Awards were given to our softball Junior and Senior teams for sportsmanship. Also, Will Rosenow for Naturespace, Gavin Samp for Self-Determined, Joe Obermueller for Leathercraft, Jabin Hojem for Arts and Crafts, Tyler Franklin for Mechanical Projects, Tabby Nadeau for Exploring, Maya Petersrn for Leathercraft, Renita McCluskey for Clothing, Kaitlin Konder for Dairy Judging, and Wesley Franklin for Interpretive Reading. Our members did a really great job at the fair with 15 members Reserve, Champion, Reserve Grand Champion, or Grand Champion Ribbons. Our dairy members also received a first place trophy for herdsmanship at the fair.
Our next meeting is November 11th, at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Emerald. New members are welcome.
