ALMA J. TUTTLE

Alma J. Tuttle, age 90, of Glenwood City, WI died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Glenhaven Inc. in Glenwood City, WI.

Alma was born January 19, 1922 in the Township of New Haven, WI to John and Anna (Finnerud) Carlsrud. She attended Forest Grove school. Alma married Leonard Tuttle on February 11, 1942 in Glenwood City, WI.

She enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing cards and bingo. She also enjoyed the wildlife, especially watching the birds. She was a member of the Sunny Slope Homemakers Club.

Alma is preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard, son Peter John, brothers Arnold Finnerud, Palmer and Albert Carlsrud and sister Edna Albright.

Alma is survived by five children: Wes Tuttle and wife Alice of Glenwood City, WI; Mary Sempf and husband David of Menomonie, WI; Jolyne Rhodes and husband Don of Cheyenne, WY; Debra Mahoney and husband Brian of Glenwood City, WI; and Wayne Tuttle and wife Cyndy of Glenwood City, WI; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister Josie Amundson and husband Gerald of Prairie Farm, WI. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Louis Reddy as celebrant. Burial was in the church cemetery. Local arrangements by the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI.
