West CAP Holiday Gift Program

West CAP is celebrating its 21st year hosting the Holiday Gift Program for local children. When the program first started, it only served the Glenwood City school district. Today the program is also able to help children in the Boyceville and Spring Valley school districts. West CAP served over 225 kids in 2011.

The Holiday Gift Program is entirely possible because of the generous donations of the community. Several area businesses, churches, and local community organizations have tags hanging on trees for children to be “adopted.” West CAP also has donation boxes around Glenwood City for people to drop off new unwrapped gifts and winter clothing. Monetary donations are always accepted to help support the program as well.

We encourage everyone to start a new tradition and grab a tag or give us a call to sponsor a child or family. Make this holiday season a little brighter for your community. Applications also can be picked up at the West CAP main office located at the above address or at the Food Access & Resource Center located at 823 Main Street in Boyceville.
