JOHN C. “JOHNNY” STANDAERT

John C. “Johnny” Standaert, age 53, of Emerald, WI died Tuesday Sept. 11, 2012 at his home.

John was born December 23, 1958 in New Richmond, WI to Leonard and Paula (Link) Standaert. He attended school in the Glenwood City area. His passion was his bike, he loved working on vehicles, hunting, being social and hanging with friends and family.

John is preceded in death by his father Leonard, sisters Rita, Elizabeth and Janet, and niece Darla.

John is survived by his mother Paula Standaert, sisters and brothers, Diane Paulson and husband Craig, Cindy Peterson and husband John, Doug Standaert and wife Kathy, Mary Stasieluk and husband Luke, Jim Standaert, Ron Standaert and wife Julie and Patty Kahler and husband Wally. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held Monday Sept 17, 2012 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City with Deacon Wesley Tuttle officiating. Burial of cremains will be in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery Glenwood City at a later date.
