MENOMONIE – A Wisconsin man was killed September 7 in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 94 in Dunn County.
Fifty-year-old Scott A. Quist of Dorchester, WI died last Friday morning when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving and crashed in the west bound lane of I-94 about five miles west of the City of Menomonie.
According to a new release from the Wisconsin State Patrol, Quist, the lone occupant of the cycle, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
The report indicated that the area had received intermittent rain showers prior to the accident, which occurred around 9:40 am. An initial investigation indicated that the wet roadway conditions may have been a factor in the crash.
The Dunn County Sheriff’s office assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
