Here it is Monday morning 3:30 a.m. Got stung by a bee yesterday and had a bad reaction from it. I want to thank my grandsons for helping me get my outside chairs back in from the Parade, and also Darcy and Ron. I have a blown-up left hand yet.
Pickle Fest went off very well. Lots of workers made it run very smoothly. The town was full for the parade, as in other years.
On Saturday Diane and Al returned. They try to make it for the Jammers chicken each year. We had a really nice visit. Lots of people make it back for chicken each year.
The Quilt Show as reported to me was very impressive and the quilts were beautifully displayed.
The tractor show seems to be getting larger each year.
My famous golden pickle was found late Saturday night. It was under the dock at the old feed mill. The face lift that it got was the words Cenex was painted over. Congratulations, Kelly.
Mary helped me on the weekend. She had her vintage jewelry for sale. Don had his belt buckles and knives.
There were two class reunions that were reported to me. Class of 55 held their 57th reunion at the Wilson Nite Club. As reported by Garry Dettman from Olsmar, FL, he said they have one each year to keep in touch.
The 60th class reunion was held at Old Town, Jean Bosshart reported to me.
Ruth Chernus from Ocala, FL. has been visiting the week with Ted and Ruby Litzkoco. Know they took part in the Ice Cream and Pie Social at Trinity on Sunday, which is a yearly event.
Linda Helson and her family returned to visit her folks, Dick and Arlene Clack.
Thanks to the folks who brought in the stuff for the Pickle Creations and Pickle Tasting. Let’s keep pickle in the Pickle Fest.
Also for the beautiful flowers and vegetables. Thanks to the CAC for the help. Deb and Tricia the Boyceville Ambassadors. Boyceville has a beautiful float, and I like the colors.
I’m sure there has to be pictures used elsewhere in this week’s paper.
Well keep me informed. Lots of people remarked on my windows. Share some of your pictures, there’s years I don’t have and I would like to fill in the gaps.
Call me with your whereabouts and who’s with you. You know how nosy I am.
God Bless,
Sharon, 715-643-2533.
