Juniors are Tim Lambele, Korbyn Knipfer, David Ward, Corey Hagberg and Gabe LaRock. Sophomores Chandler James and Colin Svee will compete for a varsity spot along with freshmen Jonah LaRock, Jameson Rubenzer, Jacob Hoag and Mark Dickinson.

Kongshaug grew up in a golfing family and has been playing since she was very young. She competed in the sport at the high school and college level.

“I am very excited about our first high school season of golf at Elk Mound,” she said. “Although we are new to competitive play, we have been practicing well and I am confident the kids will continue to improve throughout the season.”

The Mounders will use Whitetail Golf Course as their home course and will play in all conference matches as well as in tournaments.
