The Sand Creek Arts will hold its monthly Blue Grass Jam on Saturday, April 6 at the Sand Creek Arts Building at 6:30 p.m.

Lillian Wendlandt celebrated Easter with Marian and Michael Brasher by going to Minneapolis to spend the day with Michelle and Rob Reynolds and children, Immanuel, Gabriel and Grace.

Swanhild Rasmussen enjoyed Easter dinner with Toby and Judy Horn.

Janice Wendlandt, Jamison. Wendlandt and Judy Gronning went to visit Janice’s son, Jordan Wendlandt and family at Alexander, North Dakota during Easter week.

Tom and Caryl Schoen hosted their family on Easter weekend that included: Tammi Benson and friend, Jim Graser as well as Cory Benson and his friend, Rachel, of Big Bend, WI Dawn and Jeff Teske, Alex, Luke and Jake of Burnsville, MN and Bill Schoen.

Cindy Gilberts of Menomonie spent Easter weekend with her dad, Snort Gilberts.

Elvin Riewestahl took his mother, Ruby Riewestahl, to Marshall, Missouri last week to visit Ruby’s long-time friend, Margie (Foss) Zank. Margie was Ruby’s matron of honor in Ruby and Erwin’s wedding 66 years ago.

Kenny and Sharon Nelson entertained Easter dinner guests at their home for the following: Teresa and Lee Killoren Brody and Bryce, Michael and Kelly Nelson, Zoe and Noah and Elizabeth Brenden of Eau Claire.

Gert Berg is a patient at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. Mae Sparby, Lillian Wendlandt and Jeff Berg visited Gert on Friday of last week.

Harlan and Lana Anderson were Easter Sunday dinner guests of their daughter, Beth and Adam Kirby in Augusta.

Mary and Ron Keller, Ashley Keller and her fiancé, Nate, came to spend Easter with Mae Sparby. Pastor Michael Sparby arrived from Chicago on Sunday evening to be here for a couple of days.

Herb and Doris Tallman expected to entertain about 40 relatives at their home on Easter Sunday.

Alex, Maggie and Adam Timm took turns staying with their grandparents, Jerry and Sandy Timm as well as Paul and Lou Ann Gilberts while their parents, Kelly and Clayton Timm vacationed in Cancun last week.

Other houseguests of Paul and Lou Ann Gilberts on Easter week-end were: cousins, Judi McCullum from Grafton, WI, and Judi’s sister, Arloa Anderson from Stone Lake, WI.

Then on Easter Sunday, Paul and Lou Ann Gilberts hosted Easter dinner for all of their family.

Brian and Debbie Vlcek and family of Eau Claire came on Friday evening and stayed until Saturday at the George Vlcek farm. Grandson, Hunter, helped Grandma make the cinnamon rolls and colored Easter eggs for the guests.

Kim Weiss and sons, Matthew and Nathan, hosted Easter dinner for Kim’s parents, Tom and Judy Vaughn, sister Shelly and David Rae, Sean, Megan and Kayleigh, brother, Mike and Diane Vaughn, Alex, Zach and Haley.

Harlan and Lana Anderson returned to Sand Creek on March 17 after the last snowstorm when visiting their daughter, Kristin and Colby Turner, Trent and Rachel. They celebrated an early second birthday for Rachel.

They also stayed with Corinne and Dennis Koehler at Pueblo, CO enroute out to Gila Bend, Arizona and on the way back.

Inez Schrader heard from so many friends for her March 11th birthday that we are just now “catching up”. Inez heard from her grandson, Pat and Kristi Anderson following their arrival in Hungary. They reported that they are doing well.

Sandy Anderson traveled to Mpls. to spend Easter Sunday with Karen and Sharon Hegna.

Jean Hanson entertained her family for Easter dinner including: Kurt and Janene Hanson and family, Brad and Tricia Hanson and Brayden, Karl and Hannah Hanson, Madi, Lexi and Joshua, Judy Gronning, Dave and Janice Wendlandt and Jamison.

Kurt and Janene Hanson hosted Janene’s side of the family at their farm on the Saturday before Easter.

Starting out with warm cinnamon rolls, George and Delores Vlcek hosted Easter for Nathan and Amy Vlcek and Hunter on Easter morning. They were joined by Rick Flinn, Rachel Vlcek and her friend, John.
