Wheeler man charged with battery of 89-year-old Boyceville woman skips court date, bench warrant issued

MENOMONIE  —  A 25-year-old Wheeler man charged with felony aggravated battery to an elderly person for allegedly breaking into her home and hitting her in the head with her cane has failed to show up for a court hearing.

Daniel D. Schick was scheduled for an arraignment hearing in Dunn County Circuit Court January 2 but failed to appear for the hearing.

Schick’s attorney, James H. Krave, told the court he did not have any information on the whereabouts of his client.
