MENOMONIE – The Glenwood City FCCLA recently competed at the Regional FCCLA Competition at UW-Stout, February 14. For the competition students must first select a STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) event.

Top teams from each category get to move on to the State Competition where they then get to present a second time to a panel of judges and hope to be one of the few selected to make it to the National Competition. This year Glenwood City had seven students who competed.

Alexis Albrecht competed in Recycle and Redesign earning gold.

Delaney Quinn and Hanna Strehlo competed in Life Event Planning as a team earning gold.

Leah Magsam also competed in Life Event Planning earning gold.

Emma Scholler competed in Illustrated Talk earning gold.

Melina Schultz and Alex Holldorf competed in Sports Nutrition as a team earning gold.

All seven members will be competing at the state FCCLA competition at Wisconsin Dells in April. [/member_protected]
