Samson-Bacha wed October 13

Holly Dessie Lynn Samson and Derrick David Bacha were married October 13th at Our Lady of Lourdes in Rice Lake.

Parents are Timothy and Cynthia Samson of Elk Mound and David and Sharon Bacha of Lublin. Matron of Honor was Lea Quick. Bridesmaids included Dena Otto, sister of bride, Leah VonFeldt and Jayd Bacha, sisters of groom, Heather Prueher and Teresa Hanson. Soloist was Amber Hayden and Amy Barneson was Reader and Personal Attendant. Madilyn and Greta VonFeldt were flower girls. Kyle Bacha, brother of groom, was Best Man with groomsmen Dan VonFeldt, Ron Borek, Daryl Wojcik and Clint Wanta. Silas VonFeldt was ringbearer. Scott and Tim Harrison seated guests. Readers included Brianne Maier and Dennis Wojcik. Victoria Lovestrand performed prelude “Wedding Day at Troldhauen” and “Jupiter” for the bride’s entrance. Patricia Partridge performed “How Can I Keep From Singing” on harp for bridesmaids entrance. The mother-of-pearl empire waist gown with gold paisley bodice and train was designed by the bride and sewn by the bride’s mother, as well as the matching cape, the flower girls’ dresses and the ring bearer’s vest and pillow. Guests in attendance came from Scotland, California, Ohio, West Virginia, Minnesota, Arizona and New Hampshire. The reception/dance with music provided by Home Grown Tomatoes was held at the Rice Lake Elks Club. The couple works and resides in Rice Lake.
