The Lady Hilltoppers played a short game when they met league-leading Elk Mound for the first time this season.

The Mounders hosted an April 11 meeting with the Glenwood City squad and dished the Toppers a 14-3 loss in just five innings of play.

The Hilltoppers turned the tabled when they welcomed Spring Valley to their field Monday, April 17, and held the Cardinals scoreless in five innings for the 13-0 win.

Glenwood City now has an overall record of 3-3 and is 1-2 in the D-SC. The Toppers hosted Plum City April 18, and are scheduled for a trip to Alma April 20 and a trip to Grantsburg April 21.
