Elk Mound’s golf team has yet to meet its goal of cracking into the top half of the Dunn-St. Croix, but it does seem to be getting closer with each round.

The Mounders finished fourth at the May 4 Dunn-St. Croix meet hosted by Spring Valley following a score of 201.

Coach Brandon Powell said the team needs to keep its mind on the need for consistency at this point in the season.
