DEBBIE A. (HINZMAN) JOHNSON

Deborah A. Johnson, age 59, of Boyceville, WI passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Heritage of Elmwood in Elmwood, WI.

Debbie was born on June 19, 1958 in Menomonie, WI to Norman and Etta Mae (Johnson) Hinzman. She graduated from Boyceville High School in 1976.

Debbie married Perry Johnson on August 27, 1977 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Glenwood City, WI, and their marriage was blessed by one daughter, Amanda.

She worked 21 years for the Glenwood City Tribune as a typesetter and designer.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Rowland Johnson, and brother-in-law Edward Scholler.

She is survived by her husband Perry Johnson of Boyceville, WI.

Daughter Amanda Jane (Lukas) Montgomery. 

Grandchildren Rachael, Michael, Philip, and soon to arrive granddaughters Phoebe and Penelope Montgomery.

Brothers; Dave Kuester of St. Paul, MN; John (Sue) Hinzman of Boyceville, WI; and Joseph (Mary) Hinzman of Petersburg, TN; Mother-in-law Whynelda Johnson of Glenwood City, WI; Brothers and Sisters-in-law; Dave (Debbie) Johnson of Baldwin, WI; William (Brenda) Johnson of Clayton, WI; Shelly (Keith Allen) Johnson-Schmidt of Waterford, WI; and Ranei Johnson-Scholler of Glenwood City, WI. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, WI with Reverend Bradley Peterson officiating. Interment will be in the Sherman Cemetery – Twp. Sherman, WI in the spring. Friends were able to call at the Anderson Funeral Home on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 3 to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.

Perry would like to thank our daughter Amanda and son-in-law Luke Montgomery, John & Sue Hinzman, Diane & Marlin Bird, Harry & Sandra Christian, Eugene & Ann Hanson, Carole & Eric Schurtz, Cindy & Terry Ludtke, Ben & Carol Schlosser, and Justin & Bethany Bird, whose help and support, either directly or indirectly, was invaluable and very much appreciated these past 7 months.
