Colfax Health and Rehab – 10-31-2012

This week we watched Green Bay win on Sunday. That was a good way for our football fans to start the week.

On Monday afternoon we had a “Resident Auction” with Susie Hill as the auctioneer. Great job, Susie. Each resident is given play money to use when bidding on donated items like clothing, games, jewelry, puzzles.

On Tuesday, Veda came and helped us as we played Bingo and had Happy Hour.

On Wednesday morning we went to a church service led by Pastor Wollman, Deloris played the piano and Linnea help residents. Taek was here in the afternoon to help with beauty boutique. River Boat Randy entertained us in the evening.

On Thursday afternoon, we were entertained by Rich Schroeder with some of his country selections.

On Friday, Loretta led Rosary and Veda helped all day with Gospel sing in the morning and Dime Bingo in the afternoon. Glen and Julie led the Gospel sing and once again Delores played the piano during the sing.

On Saturday, residents had the opportunity to attend REX Class at 1 p.m. and at 6 p.m. The Hollywood game was also well attended.

Next week, as we start November, we are busy making plans for the coming Holiday Season. We are again offering the opportunity to honor and remember loved ones during this season with a light on the Love Light Tree. The lighting of the tree will be December 5th at 2:00 p.m.

That is all from the land of Colfax where the men are brave and the women are beautiful.
