Colfax batsmen fall prey to Panthers, end season with close lost to Boyceville

The young Vikings’ baseball team has not had an easy time of it this season.

It was not until the final three days of regular-season play that the team could put a “W” in its win-loss column.

They did, however, finally earn a conference win against Glenwood City May 20 before heading to Durand for a double-header May 22. Colfax completed its D-SC and regular season by getting mauled by the Panthers 28-0 and 17-0, before turning its focus to a May 25 regional opener in Boyceville.
