Boyceville to meet with state over Highway 170 improvements

BOYCEVILLE — The village will meet with representatives of the state’s Department of Transportation in the near future over improvements to State Highway 170 that transverses the village.

Village maintenance head Don Rose spoke to the village board about the request for a meeting from the Department of Transportation over the resurfacing project, which is scheduled for 2022. Rose informed the village board that the state only resurfaces 24 feet of the highway and anything wider would be at the village’s expenses including curb and gutter.
