The Lady Bulldogs started their second-to-last week of the 2017 regular season with a loss at three-time conference champion Elk Mound.

The Monday, May 8 game saw the Boyceville ladies held scoreless over four innings before picking up five runs in the fifth.

The Mounders, however, had already chalked up 13 runs by the end of the fourth, and the Bulldogs were not able to catch up, dropping the game 14-5.
