Boyceville fire district settles on 11,390 square feet for new fire station

BOYCEVILLE  — The Boyceville Community Fire District has settled on 11,390 square feet for a new fire station.

Rich Monn, chair of the district’s five-year-planning committee, reported on a recent meeting with Dave Cihasky of Five Bugles Design at the fire board’s October 11 meeting.

The apparatus bay would be 7,340 square feet. The administrative portion of the building would be 2,260 square feet, while mechanical would be 800 square feet, and the “shell space” for future expansion would be 990 square feet, Monn said.
