Bonne Jean (Scarrella) Nelson of North Port, FL age 71 passed away on December 18, 2017 at the Venice Hospice House in Venice, FL. after enduring a long battle with leukemia.

She was born on November 18, 1946 in St. Paul, MN where as a young woman worked many years for the St. Paul Human Society before moving to Glenwood City, WI. where she meet her husband Ron Nelson, a long time resident of Emerald, WI. After getting tired of enduring the harsh winters of Wisconsin, Bonne and Ron moved to Florida to enjoy some sunshine. Bonne will always be remembered by her great smile and ability to gab with anyone, she loved gabbing and telling stories, she also loved music, dancing, walking along the beach looking over the ocean and of course reading a good book, anything by James Patterson.

Bonne is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Immerman, father James J Scarrella, sisters Cherri Jo Immerman, Merry Poferl, son Patrick PJ Mulligan, grandson Corey Triemert, Great grandson Cash Gilkerson and great granddaughter Hadley Gilkerson.

Bonne is survived by husband; Ron Nelson, daughters; Teresa Mulligan, Ashley Lukas, and Nicole (and Andy) DeMar, sons; Derrick (and Jen Schook) Mulligan, and Gregory Mulligan, granddaughters; Shannon (and Tommy) Gilkerson, Becky Markfort , Lexus Mulligan, Ambria Mulligan, Kaylee Mulligan, Josie DeMar, Jessie DeMar,  Kaileea Lukas, and Addyson Lukas Shannon (Moriarity)(John) Hamilton Great grand children; Mercedes Markfort, Tripp Markfort, Avery Gilkerson, Harvey Gilkerson and Gemma Campbell, Jacob Hamilton. Sister; Terri Lee Immerman, brothers; Gary (and Jennifer) Immerman, Larry Immerman, Jerry Immerman, Perry Immerman and Barry Immerman, brother in laws; Dave Poferl and Keith Nelson. Also many, many nephews and nieces. 

A memorial service is planned for March 24, 2018 at  the Cornerstone Church,  1024 4th Street, Hudson, WI. between the hours of 3 pm to 7 pm. Bonne would like everyone to come and see her off to her new adventure called the afterlife. She will be remembered by many for her big smile…
