HUDSON – The St. Croix Valley Branch of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin is proud to announce and welcome Heidi Herron as the Regional Director of Community Development. Herron will lead all Fund and Resource Development for the branch office which spans over Pierce and St. Croix counties.
Herron joins the Big Brothers Big Sisters team with a background that blends non-profit fund development and education. Most recently, Herron served as Development Director for Five Loaves Food Shelf where she played a pivotal role in the expansion of the organization’s operating budget. Herron also brings with her nearly 18 years of strategic planning and curriculum design that will aid in the establishment of fresh new development plans.
“Heidi brings a fresh perspective to bridging the organization’s needs with the financial support and resources needed for sustainability. Her proven ability to craft sound strategy will be a strength for the St. Croix Valley branch,” commented Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin CEO, Wesley Escondo.
Herron holds a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Secondary Education Teaching Certification from University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
