The Wheeler Village Board approved one license and accepted a number of license applications at the May 14 meeting.

The Wheeler Village Board approved one license and accepted a number of license applications at the May 14 meeting.
GLENWOOD CITY – Several graduates of Glenwood City’s Class of 2013 will share in a scholarship haul that once again tallied in the six figures.
More than half of this year’s graduating class of 44 members earned scholarship awards from private, public, and local courses. This year’s award total was up over $70,000 from 2012 as 23 individuals earned a combined tally of $186,525 in monetary awards.

COLFAX — Readers of the Colfax Messenger who have been around for a while will remember Robert (Bob) Ziebell from his 25 years of working at the Colfax Farmers’ Union.
Others will remember Bob from his “Bob in Hardware” years at Mills Fleet Farm in Menomonie where he was employed for more than 24 years.
And then there is Robert and Algie Ziebell’s son, Patrick.
A Free Community Forum on Water Quality, with special guest Neil Koch, retired hydrologist/geologist, will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Grapevine Sr. Nutrition Center, 121 Main St., Colfax, WI.
The Dunn County Veterans Memorial Committee of Main Street of Menomonie, Inc. and the Community Foundation of Dunn County invite area residents to the 13th annual dedication of new bricks at the Dunn County Veterans Memorial at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013. The Veterans Memorial is located at the intersection of the Historic Second Street Corridor and Crescent Street in downtown Menomonie.
